Series director John Krasinski has revealed that A Quiet Place Part III is in development with a 2025 release date in mind.
Back in 2018, John Krasinski blew away audiences and critics with his film, A Quiet Place. The horror/sci-fi film focused on a family trying to survive against a race of monsters that could only hear noise. The film was a big hit, earning over $350M worldwide on a $17M budget. The film is also certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and currently holds a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Soon after the film was released a sequel was put into development with Krasinski returning to write and direct the film. It was delayed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic but was eventually released in May of 2021. The film likewise was a big hit and well received by critics.
After the release of A Quiet Place Part II Paramount put a new film into development. This installment would not be a direct sequel but instead, another story set in the world. Now John Krasinski has revealed that A Quiet Place Part III is in development.
The announcement came during Paramount’s investor presentation. Krasinski revealed that the film was in the works and is currently set to be released sometime in 2025. It is currently unknown if he will return to direct the film.
