See John Krasinski As Mr. Fantastic In The MCU’s Fantastic Four

Could the star be the next Mr. Fantastic?

John Krasinski dons an up-to-date version of the Fantastic Four costume as Mr. Fantastic in the new concept design.

Although fans are still waiting to learn how Marvel’s First Family will enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a modern design shows off what John Krasinski could look like in a fresh Fantastic Four costume. A scientific advisor working with Marvel Studios recently suggested the team should be introduced via a Black Panther sequel, with the technologically advanced nation finding the team in another dimension. Although there’s a number of suggestions of who should play the Human Torch, the Invisible Woman and the Thing, John Krasinski is the one truly consistent name that crops up when fans discuss Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four in the MCU.

A new concept design from ‘barrett.digital’ on Instagra shows off John Krasinski in a modern Fantastic Four costume, which features a blue, black and white color scheme. All the details, piping and panelling in the suit definitely match the current aesthetic of the superheroes in the current roster of Marvel heroes. The artist also pointed out in the caption that there’s been so much discussion around John Krasinski joining the film that it would be weird to see another actor in the role. Take a look at the Fantastic Four design below.
