Jonathan Majors becomes Kang the Conqueror in new artwork inspired by Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series.
The season finale of the Disney Plus original series Loki gave us an exciting glimpse at the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The episode saw Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) encountering the eccentric He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), who reveals that he has several horrific variants, including the Marvel comic book icon Kang the Conqueror.
The conclusion of Loki season one finds the Multiverse unleashed, leaving Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief in an alternate version of the Time Variance Authority in which certain characters including Mobius (Owen Wilson) do not recognize him. In this universe, we see that Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror has taken over the TVA.
A digital artist who goes by “Mizuri” on Instagram created this stunning artwork of Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror for Loki season two. Here, we see him in a comic-accurate depiction, with a purple tone that just pops. You can check out the fan art featuring Majors below.
Besides his potential role in Loki Season 2, Jonathan Majors is set to play Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It’s safe to say that he is being built up as one of the major antagonists of the MCU moving forward, and thankfully he is performed by a remarkable actor.
