‘The Boys’ Star Karl Urban Reveals ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ Cameo

Billy Butcher ventured into a galaxy far, far away.

The Boys star Karl Urban revealed that he made a secret cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Although fans might know him better for his work as Judge Dredd or as Billy Butcher in The Boys, Karl Urban managed to bag a cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The star revealed that he had an extremely minor role in the final film of the sequel trilogy in a new interview Digital Spy. The Boys star will next be seen in the second season of the Amazon series, which looks to be even more grisly and bloody than the impressive first season.

The Boys star Karl Urban explained his cameo to Digital Spy, explaining that he was lucky enough to play a stormtrooper for the brief scene where Kylo Ren is marching around a First Order ship followed by his acolytes. Urban even had a single line of dialogue that made it into the final cut of the Star Wars film. The Boys star explained that it was one of his life-long goals to become a stormtrooper in the series, so it’s great that J.J. Abrams let him fulfill a dream!

“Here’s the process. I had the good fortune to go and visit JJ Abrams [the film’s director] while he was shooting The Rise of Skywalker. While I was there, he put me in a stormtrooper uniform and we had a really fun day on set. It’s been one of my life-long goals to be a stormtrooper, so I can tick that off now. “What is in the cut is my voice saying ‘Knights of Ren’ as Kylo Ren walks down a hallway past two stormtroopers. I am one of those stormtroopers,”

On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
