Kate Dickie is making her mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role in Loki season two and new details about her character are sure to get fans talking.

Game of Thrones star Kate Dickie is set to appear in the upcoming second season of the Disney Plus series Loki, with the actress rumored to be playing an older version of Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie. According to a Marvel insider who goes by “MyTimeToShineHello” on Twitter, Dickie’s Loki character is “an evil general evil general who wants her soldiers (former TVA agents) to destroy the new timelines created after the death of He Who Remains.”

Kate Dickie is best known for her work as Lysa Arryn in two seasons of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Readers may also recognize her from her brief role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, where she played General Hux’s First Order monitor.

While details about the second season of Loki are still largely under wraps, it’s clear that the show will be exploring some exciting new territory. The first season of the Marvel series was a critical and commercial success, with many praising Tom Hiddleston’s performance as the God of Mischief. The show also introduced viewers to Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie, a variant of Loki who quickly became a fan-favorite.

Eric Martin replaced Michael Waldron as the head writer of Loki for its second season. Martin and Waldron also serve as executive producers on the series alongside Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Benson and Moorhead directed the majority of the episodes for the upcoming season.
