The first official image of Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 4 has been released by Lionsgate at San Diego Comic-Con.
The first still from the upcoming John Wick sequel features a look at Keanu Reeves’ titular hitman in the film, which is expected to pick up where Chapter 3 – Parabellum left off, with Wick joining forces with Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King in the fight against the sinister High Table.
The film is scheduled to release on March 24, 2023. Its full official title is yet to be announced.
John Wick Takes On The High Table
The High Table is a council of crime lords, considered to be the ultimate authority in the criminal underworld, feared even by John Wick.
Given the ending to John Wick: Chapter 3, it is expected the High Table will have a major role to play in Chapter 4. Laurence Fishburne is also expected to return, once again reuniting with his former Matrix co-star, Keanu Reeves.
Reeves’ John Wick is looking downcast, even meditative, in the first official image from Chapter 4, which sees him surrounded by candles in a darkened room. The image reveals little, other than the fact that Keanu Reeves is getting ready to bring the legendary hitman to life one more time.

Chapter 4 will mark the first film in the franchise not to be penned by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad. Production on the film began back in June 2021, with principal photography wrapping in October 2021. Filming has taken place in Europe, Japan and New York.
Here is the official synopsis for the last film in the franchise:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.
Directed by Chad Stahelski from a script written by Derek Kolstad, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum stars Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, Common, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jason Mantzoukas, Anjelica Huston, and Boban Marjanovic.
