Set Video For Keanu Reeves’ ‘The Matrix 4’ Reveals An Intense Car Chase

The Matrix 4 Keanu Reeves Neo

A brand new video from the set of Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix 4 shows off an intense car chase for the movie.

Last year, Warner Bros. announced that The Matrix 4 is finally moving forward with Keanu Reeves returning to the role of Neo. Since production began more and more set videos for the film have leaked online, revealing Keanu Reeves’ look in the film as well as a number of action scenes. Thanks to another new set video, we now know that at least one kind of car chase will be in the film.

Car chases have previously been a part of Matrix films. The second entry in the series, The Matrix Reloaded, was overall less well-received than its predecessor but did have one incredible car chase that that many considered to be the highpoint of the film. Now it seems that we will be getting at least one more of these but instead of cars piling on one another, people will be pilling on cars in an effort to stop the driver. You can see the full set video below:

What do you all make of this set video of The Matrix 4? Why are all these people attacking the car? Sound-off in the comments!

The Matrix is generally considered to be a landmark science fiction/action film of the late 90s/early 2000s and helped cement Keanu Reeves as a major action star.  The film and its two sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions collectively earned a total of $1.6 billion at the worldwide box office. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss portrayed Neo and Trinity in all three chapters of the Matrix film series which were directed by Lana and Lilly Wachowski.

Directed by Lana Wachowski from a script she co-wrote with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchel, The Matrix 4 stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Priyanka Chopra, Andrew Caldwell, and Brian J. Smith.

The Matrix 4 is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 21, 2021.
