Batman actor Kevin Conroy discussed working Batwoman‘s Ruby Rose and Supergirl‘s Melissa Benoist on Crisis on Infinite Earths.
After years of voicing Batman in the ’90s animated series and Arkham video game, Kevin Conroy will finally portray a live-action version of the Dark Knight in Crisis on Infinite Earths. The highly-anticipated Arrowverse crossover will see Kevin Conroy’s Batman cross paths with familiar DC heroes, including Ruby Rose’s Batwoman and Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin Conroy reflected on the initial challenges he faced portraying a live-action Batman for the first time. However, Kevin Conroy also recalled how working with Batwoman‘s Ruby Rose and Supergirl‘s Melissa Benoist helped him overcome those hurdles:
“Everybody was so generous to work with. I can’t emphasize how enough how welcoming everyone was, especially Ruby. She is so open and giving. I just fell into her eyes at one point and we just connected on camera. It was wonderful. […] I felt like I was working with old friends I’d known for years. There was just such trust there that I could open up to them on camera.”
