A photo from the set of Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion shows off Kingsley Ben-Adir’s villain.
Production on Secret Invasion is currently underway. Details on Marvel’s next are practically non-existent, though if we go by the source material the show is based on, one can imagine a series that shows humans investigating the Skrulls that have invaded their planets. With such a paranoiac premise to work with, one can imagine tons of plot twists and thrills coming our way.
The last week has been a boon for Marvel fans as they’ve gotten their first looks at Emilia Clarke’s mysterious character, as well new shots of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury sans eye patch. Now, all eyes have turned to Kingsley Ben-Adir’s mysterious character, who is rumored to be the show’s villain.
Those hoping to see Kingsley Ben-Adir donning green make-up as a Skrull or an elaborate costume should keep their expectations in check as the first snap of the star is just in plain ol’ civilian clothes. It’s unclear who the British star will be playing in Secret Invasion, as well as if his allegiance lies to the humans or Skrulls. With production still underway, it’s unlikely that we’ll get a trailer any time soon to clear up any doubts. Speculation is the name of the game, for now.
Here is the synopsis for Moon Knight, Marvel’s next series:
