Jessica Jones is finally hitting the gym! Krysten Ritter shares an exciting new photo preparing for her grand return in Daredevil: Born Again alongside Charlie Cox.
At this point, the idea of Jessica Jones appearing in Daredevil: Born Again has to be one of the longest running rumors in the comic book space. While fans likely would have been over the moon to be any of the Defenders cast appear in the MCU alongside Charlie Cox, there was likely no actor fans wanted more than Krysten Ritter, sans perhaps Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
Which is why it came as a shock to so many when it was revealed the other day that the actress would, in fact, be making her return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. The constant rumors felt like a football pulled out of the way right as the audience as about to punt it. As such, the sudden and unceremonious confirmation left the news of Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox reuniting on the small screen seem more unreal than exciting.
Krysten Ritter’s Training For Jessica Jones
But while the feeling may be unreal, the actual training is very, very much real. Krysten Ritter’s trainer recently shared a photo of her training for her return as Jessica Jones alongside Charlie Cox. While the image doesn’t reveal too much (if anything) about her character’s role in Daredevil: Born Again, the fact that she’s training at all suggests that the heroine may be getting into quite a few scraps headed into the upcoming season of television.
With her training seemingly well underway, it likely won’t be long until fans see set photos leaking of Krysten Ritter on the set of Daredevil: Born Again season 2. Given Charlie Cox is donning a newer, much darker costume as the Man Without Fear, it’s possible that Jessica Jones also gets an upgrade to her super suit. Though if she does, it’ll likely be less “colored spandex” and more “leather jacket”.
