We already know that Marvel Studios will be producing a number of television shows for the Disney+ streaming service, including a standalone series for Loki and another for Scarlet Witch and Vision. However, rumor has it that Lady Sif could be next in line to inherit her own show.
According to Discussing Film, a Lady Sif series is in early development over at the Mouse House. Kevin Feige will come aboard in his usual producorial capacity and Jamie Alexander is expected to once again reprise her role as the Asgardian warrior.
Whether the series will take place before or after the events of Thor: Ragnarok is still unclear.
What is more clear is that each show will receive around a $100 million budget for a limited 6-8 episode run. A similar budget has been planned out for the Star Wars spin-off show The Mandalorian, which is expected to debut this fall on Disney+.
As for Sif’s friend Thor, we can expect to see him much sooner when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters in late April.
