Life-Size ‘Detective Pikachu’ Plushie Showcased At World Hobby Fair

Pokemon Detective PikachuThe hype is real for the upcoming Detective Pikachu film starring Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the cuddly detective and now fans have something more to look forward to.

Over the weekend, the Pokemon Information Bureau posted these really cool photos from the Next Generation World Hobby Fair starring Pikachu. Look closer and you’ll notice it’s not just any Pikachu, but a life-size plushie Pikachu!

Parents, hold on to your wallets because these things are going to be huge! The detail in the eyes are really breathtaking, but the fur has got the fans going crazy. Let’s not forget to mention the adorable little detective cap and bright red cheeks every grandmother would love to pinch.

Although a release date hasn’t been announced yet for the next generation Pokemon plushie, they are expected to look just like this. Now if you’ve ever dreamed of holding a Pikachu to sleep at night, your dream shall be realized soon.

A young man joins forces with Detective Pikachu to unravel the mystery behind his father’s disappearance. Chasing clues through the streets of Ryme City, the dynamic duo soon discover a devious plot that poses a threat to the Pokémon universe.

Superhero Cinema 2018 Black Panther Avengers Thanos The Incredibles Aquaman2018 has gone by too fast. It seems like yesterday when the beginning of the new year was upon us, and the advent of having so many superhero movies hitting theaters seemed like a dream come true for every fanboy and fangirl. It’s also funny to look back and remember that although we ended up with a whopping nine major theatrical superhero movies, we almost had eleven. Sadly, Fox delayed both Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants to 2019 instead.

Even with those two films delayed, 2018 was still a massive year not just at the box office, but for the continued advancement of the genre on a number of levels. Whether it was through the cultural significance of a film like Black Panther or the exciting animated adventures of Incredibles 2 and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there was no shortage of exciting superhero stories told on the big screen this year.
