It’s been a good week for Wolverine fans. Yesterday, director James Mangold unveiled the first official poster for Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the mutant hero, which will be simply titled Logan. We also learned a bunch of new details about the upcoming movie, which will debut its first teaser or full-length trailer within the next few weeks.
In addition to the above, we now have our first official look at Sir Patrick Stewart as the returning Professor X. There’s nothing too revealing here, but the photo does make it clear that this version of Xavier will be much older than he was in all of the previous X-Men movies, which makes sense considering that this film is set in the future.

Stewart has previously mentioned that Jackman’s final Wolverine movie will also likely mark his final appearance as Charles Xavier, a.k.a. Professor X. The actor has played the fan favorite character in four X-Men films.
Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2016. The film will also star Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle and Elise Neal.
