June 13 marked Chris Evans’ 39th birthday and his Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo tried to make it a special one by sharing a goofy photo of the star as Captain America.
It’s bittersweet that we won’t be seeing Chris Evans return to the role of Captain America though we can’t fault him for leaving the character behind considering he ended on the highest of notes. Evans has left have a brilliant legacy behind that no one will ever be able to match. Normally a pretty serious actor, a brand new behind-the-scenes photo published by Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo shows just how playful Captain American can be when he’s not stressed about saving the world.
For the Captain America actor’s birthday, Mark Ruffalo took to Twitter to wish him, as well as share a photo of the actor on the set of Avengers: Infinity War.
Happy birthday, @ChrisEvans! Wishing you all the best today, bro 🎂 pic.twitter.com/sANOBJ6ZSb

The photo sees the Avengers star crouched with a laughable smile on his face, proving that the saviour of the world doesn’t always need to be a stoic hero. Though we could be wrong, it looks like this snap of Chris Evans was taken on the set of the Quinjet, when Captain America and the rest of the Avengers crew fly to Wakanda. Both Evans and Mark Ruffalo were in that scene together, so it makes sense that the Hulk snapped a photo of him then.
