Charlie Cox Daredevil Netflix Disney Plus

Marvel’s Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again begins filming early next year in New York City.

According to a new report from the folks at the Illuminerdi, Daredevil: Born Again is set to start production in February 2023 in New York City. The shoot is expected to last until December 2023, with the series premiering on the Disney Plus streaming service in Spring 2024.

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are spearheading the cast of Daredevil: Born Again, reprising their roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, respectively. The series is using the working title “Out the Kitchen.”

Daredevil and Kingpin were last seen in the final episodes of the Disney Plus shows She-Hulk and Hawkeye, respectively. The two characters are expected to make an appearance in next year’s Marvel Studios series Echo on Disney Plus ahead of their return in Daredevil: Born Again.

What we know about Daredevil’s Disney Plus series

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps, but the show’s 18-episode first season makes it Marvel’s biggest Disney Plus venture to date. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and executive producing the series for the streaming service.

Daredevil: Born Again is rumored to feature the return of Matt Murdock’s best friend and business partner Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. Earlier this year, Deborah Ann Woll also expressed her interest in reprising the role of Karen Page for the Disney Plus series. Karen and Foggy were two of the main characters of the original Daredevil series on Netflix, working alongside Matt.

Daredevil: Born Again is currently scheduled to premiere in Spring 2024 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Born Again and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
