Marvel’s ‘Echo’ Series To Feature Daredevil & Kingpin As Key Figures

Daredevil and Kingpin return in Echo!

Daredevil Vincent D'Onofrio Charlie Cox Marvel

Echo is an upcoming Disney Plus show featuring the return of Alaqua Cox as the titular character after her debut in Hawkeye. While the show highlighted Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin as a key figure in her past, a new report indicates Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will join Wilson Fisk as a key figure in her future.

Despite filming having wrapped for the series last August, details on Echo have been scarce. The news of Cox and D’Onofrio’s return was only revealed deep within an article about the return of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cox and D’Onofrio are set to be “key figures” in the Echo series, which will also set the stage for the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again on Disney Plus.

Set photos from last year confirmed that D’Onofrio would reappear in the Echo series. However, it was unclear how large of a role he would play in the show since the end of Hawkeye featured a falling out between Kingpin and Echo. While Cox was heavily rumored to appear alongside D’Onofrio, there was no official confirmation regarding his role in the series until now.
