First Look at ‘Marvel’s Runaways’ In New Set Photos

Runaways TV Hulu
With Marvel’s various television ventures now, Runaways has been flying under the radar ever since it was announced, but filming started almost a month ago. Thankfully, a few unofficial set photos have been released that show a number of the characters from the comic at a high school setting. If you can’t wait, the set photos are at the bottom of this page.

The official logline was revealed last month as well, along with the cast announcement. Read it below:

“Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? “Marvel’s Runaways” is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe–their parents.”

Marvel’s Runaways stars Rhenzy Feliz (Teen Wolf, Casual) as Alex Wilder, Lyrica Okano (The Affair, Unforgettable) as Nico Minoru, Virginia Gardner (Goat, Little Bitches) as Karolina Dean, Ariela Barer (New Girl, One Day at a Time) as Gert Yorkes, Gregg Sulkin (Faking It, Don’t Hang Up, Anti Social) as Chase Stein and Allegra Acosta (100 Things to do Before High School, Just Add Magic) as Molly Hernandez.

Josh Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl, The O.C.) and Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, The O.C.) will the show-runners of the Runaways as well as serving as executive producers. Marvel TV President Jeph Loeb will also be working on the show as an executive producer along with Jim Chory, Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinsk, with comic co-creator Brian K. Vaughan as a series executive consultant.

While these photos don’t reveal anything especially important, they do give us our first look at the cast. Marvel’s Runaways will premiere on Hulu presumably sometime in 2018.
