See Michael B. Jordan Replace Henry Cavill As Superman In New Image

Michael B. Jordan Henry Cavill Superman

A brand new concept design imagines Michael B Jordan replacing Henry Cavill as the DCEU’s next Superman.

Henry Cavill has been eager to reprise his role as Superman for future DC Extended Universe projects despite Warner Bros. moving on from the character. The studio is currently working on multiple Superman projects, with Michael B Jordan in tow to produce a series for HBO Max. While it’s unclear if Michael B Jordan will become the Man of Steel, it’s quite an inspired casting choice.

Seeing as the DCEU has largely moved on from Henry Cavill’s Superman, it’s unlikely that he will return as the iconic hero. With the future uncertain for who will portray the character, Mann Arts has created a brand new concept design that imagines Michael B Jordan as the Val-Zod variation of Superman.

The artist has created two distinct versions of Michael B Jordan as Superman. One rendition sees Val-Zod with silver-plated shoulders, while the other is a more traditional take on the Superman costume.

Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here is the synopsis:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Both versions of Justice League are available on HBO Max. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the future of Henry Cavill as Superman in the DCEU as we learn it and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
