Michelle Williams confirmed she will reunite with co-star Tom Hardy in Sony’s Venom 2.
Sony’s Venom featured Michelle Williams in the role of Anne Weying, a district attorney and ex-fiance to Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock. Towards the end of the film, Michelle Williams’ Anne Weying briefly became She-Venom and fans of the film hoped to her character return for a Venom sequel.
However, aside from Tom Hardy, the cast for Sony’s Venom 2 has not been officially announced at this point. Nonetheless, Michelle Williams confirmed her return for Venom 2 during a conversation with Yahoo Entertainment:
“I’m such a fan of Andy’s, and I’m so inspired by what he’s been able to accomplish. He’s so gifted in such a specific way, and I’m very excited to learn from him and be around him.”
Michelle Williams also noted that she hopes She-Venom will be able to take part in the action in Venom 2, saying, “I hope I get equal time that way — I can say that!”

Venom 2 will be directed by Andy Serkis from a script written by Kelly Marcel. Here’s the official synopsis for the first film:
