Last month, the long-awaited first look at the sequel to the Academy Award-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released. The film, now titled Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) gave fans a new glimpse at the further adventures of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), his reunion with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), and the expanded role of Miguel O’Hara AKA Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac).

Through the use of stunning animation and unique imagery, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) looks to bring Miles Morales on his biggest adventure yet, especially with the introduction of Spider-Man 2099. In an official still from Sony Pictures Animation’s highly-anticipated sequel, we see both Spider-Men together as they look to embark on a new adventure within the ever-expanding Spider-Verse.

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) debuts in theaters October 7, 2022.

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Dave Callaham, the film features the voices of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Oscar Isaac and Issa Rae.
