Mirror Master To Debut On S3 Of ‘The Flash’ With Major Changes

flash

The Flash has featured many iconic villains and characters direct from the comic book pages and season three is going to continue that trend by introducing new cast members, new villains and everything “Flashpoint.” Many fans have been wondering why for two seasons, the character of Mirror Master has yet to be introduced but the wait is about to come to an end.

Mirror Master is the last major rogue that the show needs, adding to Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Weather Wizard, Captain Boomerang (from Arrow), Golden Glider, The Trickster, and Pied Piper.

Traditionally within the comics, Mirror Master is known for having a mirror gun, that allows him to wrap himself in between dimensions. When it comes to his portrayal on the small screen, Todd Helbing, executive producer on The Flash, explained that changes have been made.

“[Mirror Master] doesn’t use the [mirror] gun. He’s a true meta, but he’s not necessarily warping into other dimensions.”

WB television released a character description for Mirror Master which read:

“One of the Flash’s most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder — aka Mirror Master — is a smooth criminal with a huge ego. Upon discovering he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.”

Bummer, we’ll not gonna see it the mirror dimension.

Dammit, I really wanted them to do the whole “mirror dimension” thing. It’s definitely one of the trippier concepts in comics.
