Disney has revealed when Mulan will be made available for Disney Plus following the film’s Premier Access run.
Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Mulan has had something of a rough road. The film gained a good amount of negative press thanks to star Liu Yifei’s support of the Hong Kong police during a series of protests throughout the city. Later on, the film would undergo a series of release date delays due to the coronavirus pandemic that eventually saw the film being removed from theaters entirely and sent to Disney Plus as part of Premier Access run.
The idea of the Premier Access run, however, does beg the question as to how long this run would last and when it would be made available for regular subscribers. Now, we finally have an answer. According to the Mulan page on the Disney Plus website, the Premier Access run will end on November 2 at 11:59 PM PT. Following this run, there will be a month before the film will be made available to regular Disney Plus subscribers on December 4th of 2020.
What do you all make of these dates? Are you surprised that Disney would release Mulan on Disney Plus so soon after its Premier Access run? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
