Is Moon Knight making his return in Secret Wars? Oscar Isaac reveals if there’s any plans for him to reprise his role in the upcoming Avengers film.
There has been perhaps no example of Marvel striking while the iron is hot than with Moon Knight. A series focused on a long-demanded character starring Oscar Isaac right as the man shifted from being one of the faces of Star Wars to a tour de force of acting. And for as much debate as their is on the quality of the show, one can’t deny that there were fans banging down Kevin Feige’s door demanding the character appear in the next Avengers film.
However, despite how popular Moon Knight became due to his series, Marvel has seemingly forgotten about him. Now three years out, his series has yet to be confirmed for a season 2, and Oscar Isaac’s only other appearances in the MCU have been in animated projects like What If…?. This has left many hoping that they may be saving the hero’s return for Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars.
Is Moon Knight In Avengers: Secret Wars?
Oscar Isaac was actually asked about his prospect during the Paris premiere of Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein movie. A fan asked if he was set to return to the MCU as Moon Knight in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars movie. Isaac gave a playful, albeit disappointing answer: “It’s a secret, you know…but no.”

Of course, given Avengers: Secret Wars is still roughly a year away from entering production, it’s not likely that Marvel would be telling anyone to clear their schedules for the film. However, given how highly demanded Moon Knight is to make a return, it wouldn’t be shocking to finally see Oscar Isaac on the silver screen as the beloved hero.
