Peacemaker has a massive hot rod! John Cena has been spotted riding a brand new motorcycle in a set photo ahead of the premiere of season 2.
Peacemaker has slowly been transforming John Cena’s obscure Paragon of Liberty into one of the most iconic heroes in the DC Universe. The first season gave him some well-worn staples of the genre including multiple helmet variations, a rogues gallery of villains, and even an animal sidekick. This trend is continuing heading into season 2, with a set photo from the show’s sophomore outing revealing the character riding a sick new motorcycle.
The motorcycle is one of the most common travel methods for superheroes (well, at least the ones that can’t fly). Peacemaker’s bike joins the annals of history alongside the batcycle, the hell cycle, and even the spider-cycle. John Cena can also be seen sporting a brand new jacket in this set photo, as shown by the long sleeves and detailing on the gloves. It’s unclear if this will be a permanent upgrade to his suit in season 2, or simply an addition he’s wearing for safety on the bike.
Does Peacemaker Have A Motorcycle?
While Peacemaker doesn’t have a motorcycle in the original comics, it wouldn’t be farfetched for him to have used one. The character already sports both an AI-powered fighter jet and a jetpack, two items that can easily be substituted for a bike in season 2 due to budget concerns. Though given the color of the bike, it’s likely John Cena’s character didn’t make the motorcycle himself.
Some fans were quick to point out that the motorcycle shares a very similar color scheme to White Dragon’s suit back in season 1. Given Christopher Smith’s dad made most of his Peacemaker gear back in the first season, it wouldn’t be shocking if he made this bike as well, with it only being taken out of storage for a particular mission. And given John Cena is seen positioned behind two rocket launchers, it’s a cycle that likely packs a punch!
