The cast of Peacemaker season 2 just keeps growing! Tim Meadows has officially joined the roster as A.R.G.U.S. agent Langston Fleury.
With Peacemaker well into filming for season 2, casting information has been surprisingly scarce until recently. It was just this week that fans got their first new additions to the cast of the DC Universe series. This included Sol Rodriguez as Sasha Bordeaux and David Denman in an undisclosed role.
James Gunn has added one more A.R.G.U.S. agent to the DC Universe in this newest piece of casting. In a post to Instagram, Gunn confirmed that Tim Meadows would be joining the cast of Peacemaker season 2. The comedy actor, best known for his roles in projects like Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Grown Ups, will be playing Langston Fleury.
Who Is Langston Fleury In The DC Universe?
Unlike Sasha Bordeaux, Langston Fleury has seemingly no equivalent in the DC Universe’s comic books. This likely means that Tim Meadows will be playing an A.R.G.U.S. agent created entirely by James Gunn for Peacemaker season 2.
This isn’t anything new, of course. James Gunn previously created both Leota Adebayo and Clemson Murn for the first season of Peacemaker. It’s no shock that he’d do it again for season 2. However, given how many A.R.G.U.S. characters have recently been cast, it’s likely Gunn is also filling out the supporting cast for the organization in the future of the DC Universe.
