The Batman star Robert Pattinson has revealed new details about his Batsuit for the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie.
Warner Bros. is set to offer fans a fresh take on Batman with a new film from War for the Planet of the Apes helmer Matt Reeves, with Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight. Of course, details on The Batman are being kept under wraps, leaving fans with some time to wait before seeing a glimpse at Robert Pattinson’s costume for his role as the DC Comics hero.
During an interview with Yahoo, Robert Pattinson mentioned that even he has not seen the final version of his Batman suit. However, Robert Pattinson teased fans by noting that Matt Reeves has an “awesome” idea for the Batman outfit:
“Matt has got a really awesome idea about it. I think this thing is going to be very, very cool.”
When Robert Pattinson was officially cast as Batman, the actor was working on Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. With the director of The Dark Knight trilogy present, Robert Pattinson sought advice from Nolan regarding his Batman suit:
“Chris told me a little bit about how to get the camo off my face — that amongst other things.”

Plot details for The Batman are scarce. The film will reportedly center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new Batman trilogy starring Robert Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Paul Dano as the Riddler. Westworld star Jeffrey Wright was recently reported to be in talks for the role of Commissioner James Gordon.
