Robert Pattinson’s workout routine for his role in Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been revealed in a new magazine.
After The Batman star Robert Pattinson was recently spotted out running as part of his workout for the role, his regime has been revealed thanks to an interview in the latest issue of Healthy For Men magazine. Since the Matt Reeves film will undoubtedly feature plenty of stuntwork and fight scenes its no wonder that the star is sticking to a strict workout regime to keep fit while filming is on hold due to the coronavirus. Although the film has now been given the green light to resume production in the UK.
The new interview reveals that on top of running between five and ten kilometres a week, Robert Pattinson also does a three set abs circuit of bicycle crunches, dumbbell side-bends, double crunches and ironically a Superman. As well as doing military-style sandbag routines and boxing, the star has cut down on processed meat, fried food and alcohol to help get in shape for the DC film. Full plot details on The Batman are being kept under wraps, but we know that the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and features a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. Following the Dark Knight during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector, The Batman will also make use of the hero’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous live-action adaptations. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.
