Ryan Reynolds responded to the idea of potentially showing up in a Star Wars project.
The Star Wars saga continues to expand each and every year. Disney Plus has a slew of projects currently in the works that take place in the galaxy far, far away, with the most notable being an upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The franchise is perhaps the most impressionable piece of pop culture to ever exist and it’s no surprise that working on it could be a dream come true for anybody.
Ryan Reynolds is set to appear in Netflix’s The Adam Project next month, which is inspired by the sci-fi family-friendly films of the 80s, like E.T or Star Wars. His latest project even features a running gag about the iconic sci-fi franchise.
Reynolds is as big a Star Wars fan as any, so when asked by Variety if he’d be interested in joining the franchise, the Deadpool star had an interesting response.
“That would be a real hard thing to say no to, but honestly — I’m not making this up — it’s not something I’ve ever thought of,”
Someone should give Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy a call and get Ryan Reynolds his own Star Wars series ASAP! Reynolds is next set to appear in Deadpool 3 but rumors have suggested that he’s set to return as the Merc With No Mouth in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, though he’s vehemently denied those claims.
Here is the synopsis for the latest Disney Plus original Star Wars series, The Book of Boba Fett:
