Sam Wilson is in for the fight of his life in Captain America: Brave New World! The first trailer for the upcoming sequel has officially been released.
Fans have been begging for any scraps of Captain America: Brave New World footage ever since the trailer was first shown off behind closed doors at Cinemacon. While Marvel has managed to keep as tight of a lid as they can on the project, dozens of leaked set photos have only caused imagination to run rampant.
Now, just a few weeks ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has decided to officially release the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World online. The footage shows Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson with his back against the wall against foes stronger than anything he’s ever faced.
The Many Villains Of Captain America: Brave New World
Sam Wilson has one giant uphill battle in Captain America: Brave New World. While fans know that Marvel will be pitting the new Star Spangled Hero against Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and Tim Nelson’s The Leader, the trailer and set photos confirm more villains are on their way.
Perhaps the most infamous are the Serpent Society, who were originally reported to be cut from Captain America: Brave New World prior to being spotted during reshoots. Giancarlo Esposito is also confirmed to appear in the film, although it hasn’t been confirmed who exactly he’ll be playing when he comes to blows against Sam Wilson.
