Samuel L. Jackson teased a new MCU project after Secret Invasion with some behind-the-scenes set photos.
Samuel L. Jackson is one of Hollywood’s most-watched stars. Having appeared in many blockbuster franchises including the MCU, Star Wars, and Jurassic Park among other films, he has made a name for himself as an icon of the industry. As Nick Fury, he serves as one of the cornerstone characters of the world’s biggest franchise, and has made many appearances throughout its 14-year history since he was first seen in the post-credits scene for Iron Man.
The last time we saw Samuel L. Jackson on the big screen as Nick Fury was in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, the character will reappear in the upcoming Disney Plus original series Secret Invasion, in which he will be shown working alongside the Skrulls, and is also set to return for The Marvels, following-through with his connection to Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

Some new behind-the-scenes photos of Samuel L. Jackson were posted onto his Instagram story. Here, it appears that he is applying some makeup in a trailer, and he teases that he is shooting some new content as Nick Fury in the MCU, perhaps beyond Secret Invasion.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently, he teased that he would be returning to London in August, but also mentioned his work on both Secret Invasion and The Marvels. At this point, it’s possible that this is for some reshoots regarding either of those projects, but it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see Nick Fury again in a new MCU film/series.
Secret Invasion is created by Kyle Bradstreet and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo.
