First Look At Black Widow’s Classic White Costume For The Scarlett Johansson Movie

Brand new photos from Disney’s D23 Expo in California reveals the first look at one of Scarlett Johansson’s new costumes for her long-awaited solo Black Widow movie.

Earlier today, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige made an appearance at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA to present new footage from Scarlett Johansson’s first cinematic solo outing as Black Widow. In the footage, Scarlett Johansson can be seen with an all-white costume, which appears to be inspired by Natasha Romanoff’s look on the alternate cover of Black Widow: Deadly Origin #2.

While the Black Widow footage from D23 has yet to be released online, Scarlett Johansson’s all-white costume from the highly-anticipated movie is currently on display on the showfloor. You can check it out in the photos below.

The film will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Yelena Belova, the second modern-era character to use the Black Widow title in the comics.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. Production is currently underway.

Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1, 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Scarlett Johansson movie!
