A new fan-made images sees Scott Eastwood suited up as Henry Cavill’s Superman successor.
Although Justice League star Henry Cavill has previously spoken out on the rumors that he’s left the Superman role behind, it’s still not 100% clear if the British actor will return to the red trunks for another DC Extended Universe movie. This concept design shows Suicide Squad and Fast and Furious 8 star Scott Eastwood picking up the mantle in a vastly redesigned costume intended for a brand new DC Universe.
The fan art of Scott Eastwood as Superman was created by Instagram user ‘barrett.digital’ and shows off what a Superman costume could look like in the new Batman universe from Matt Reeves. Set photos from Robert Pattinson’s The Batman seemingly suggested that Superman exists in that reality, but it’ll be interesting to see whether there’s any actual reference to the DC Comics hero when the film arrives next year. Scott Eastwood’s Superman suit uses plenty of extra lines and differently toned fabrics to make the outffit stand out from previous versions.
