Secret Invasion has served to be a mixed bag among fans. Many found it disappointing while others loved the change in pace from the usual Marvel Cinematic Universe tone. However, for those who fell off the Disney Plus series, this article will break down what happened to Gravik and if there’s a post-credits scene.

There is no post-credits scene for Secret Invasion, for those who still wish to watch the finale but want to know ahead of time. This may come as a shame for those who wished for the series to tie into The Marvels or to get more answers about that MCU Skrull reveal, but the series does mostly provide answers for all its biggest questions during its runtime (Even if some fans aren’t too fans with how rushed the finale of the Disney Plus series felt).
For those curious about the fate of Gravik, or if the MCU holds a future for the Skrull after the series, there isn’t much good news. After tricking him into believing she was Nick Fury, Emilia Clarke’s Gi’ah got into a fight with Gravik using her new Super Skrull powers, eventually leading to her blasting a hole through the villain’s chest. While certainly not a ceremonious death, it’s certainly a conclusive one.
How Marvel is adapting Secret Invasion
Secret Invasion is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, which was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu. The story revolves around a group of Skrulls, an alien race that has the ability to shape-shift and take on the appearance of anyone they want. The Skrulls have infiltrated Earth’s society and are secretly replacing key figures with their own kind in order to take over the planet.
The full Secret Invasion cast also includes Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik, Emilia Clarke as G’iah, Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross. Olivia Colman, Dermot Mulroney, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, Carmen Ejogo and Charlayne Woodard are also on board in undisclosed roles.
