A new video from the set of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings shows off one of the film’s locations.
Filming on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was suspended back in March due to the ongoing pandemic, but the Marvel Studios project is getting ready to resume production. This morning, 7News Sydney shared a video from the set of the highly-anticipated movie, revealing one of its sets, which is currently under construction.
The Shang-Chi set video by 7News Sydney offers fans a look at a mysterious village, which is being built in Western Sydney. The video appears to show the same village as the one featured in the Shang-Chi set photos that surfaced online back in June. You can check it out below.

Introduced in Special Marvel Edition #15 in December 1973, Shang-Chi is a skilled martial artist who was raised in an isolated compound located in China and trained by his father Fu Manchu, a Chinese crimelord and immortal sorcerer who repeatedly attempted to conquer the world. When Shang-Chi was finally allowed to venture into the outside world to do his father’s bidding, he learned about his father’s evil ways and faked his own death before embarking on a mission to take down Fu Manchu’s criminal empire.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a script written by David Callaham, Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina, Tony Leung, and Ronny Chieng. The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 7, 2021.
