Shazam! director David F. Sandberg recently revealed his hilarious thoughts about the never-ending debate about Marvel versus DC.

The debate over Marvel vs DC has raged between fans for decades regarding the comics and now there’s a slew of movies featuring characters from both sides, that debate has only increased. And Shazam! director David F. Sandberg had a brilliant response to the recent development in the Marvel vs DC argument after James Gunn discussed how Kevin Feige reacted to the news he was taking on The Suicide Squad.

The Shazam! director took to Twitter with his response, showing his hands with a few points to make for the Marvel vs DC debate. On one hand, Sandberg had reminded himself to not engage with the Marvel vs DC stuff, before comparing Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and their outfits. That’s definitely one way of defusing the somewhat irritating debate. Take a look at the Shazam! director’s tweet below.

What do you make of the director’s jokes about the Marvel v DC debate? Are you excited to see the Shazam! sequel? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the plot synopsis for Shazam!:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quick.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
