She-Hulk: Attorney At Law creator Jessica Gao has expanded on the Spider-Man comments she made earlier this month.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is a series that focuses a lot on the legal side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show will feature several MCU characters like Daredevil, Wong, and Abomination. Dispite concerns over the initial trailers reviews for the series have been largely positive. Unfortunately, there is one character and their rouge gallery that will not be featured in the series.
Earlier this month, Jessica Gao revealed that Spider-Man was a no-go for the series. In a recent interview with TV Line, Gao expanded on this, stating that there were characters in Spider-Man’s world that they wanted to bring in. Sadly the writers had their wrists slapped on the matter fairly early on in the development process:
“We knew innately that Spider-Man was a no-go. We thought maybe some of the other characters in Spider-Man might be fun to bring into our world, but we were told pretty early on that that was impossible, so we didn’t really go too far down the road. We just had a couple of Spider-Man supernerds in our room who dare to dream!”
Here is the synopsis for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law:
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also appens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”
Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law stars Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law premieres on Disney Plus on August 18th. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the new Disney Plus series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
