‘She-Hulk’ Director Says Daredevil Is The MCU Series’ Biggest Cameo

Matt Murdock's making a splash!

Charlie Cox Daredevil: Born Again She-Hulk Netflix

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law director Kat Coiro has said Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is the series’ biggest cameo appearance and the last one from a character who has been seen in the MCU before.

Daredevil’s MCU return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. After his introduction in a Netflix series, it was initially unclear whether Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock would ever be able to appear in other corners of the MCU. Lately however, he has been making a big Marvel comeback.

After his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil has been given a She-Hulk cameo appearance and his own Disney Plus series, with a role in Echo also strongly rumored.

Daredevil & Some MCU Debuts

During a recent interview with TV Line, Kat Coiro revealed Daredevil was the biggest surprise She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has in store, with all other remaining cameos coming from Marvel characters who have not previously been seen in the MCU.

It is not yet known when Daredevil will appear in She-Hulk or how he will factor into the series, though with both Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters being lawyers by day, it is likely the two will meet in the courtroom.

Speaking about Daredevil’s upcoming appearance in She-Hulk, Kat Coiro said:

“Daredevil remains the biggest surprise that we had, which we let out of the bag at Comic-Con. I am telling you, the relief I felt seeing him pop up on that screen in front of all the fans was so huge because for almost a year I’ve been carrying this secret, and I was finally able to breathe.”

She-Hulk head writer Jessica Gao said “I don’t want to set people up for disappointment, but I will say that the remaining cameos are cameos from the comics, characters that haven’t been seen before in the MCU.”

With the Wrecking Crew showing up in Episode 3 and trailers teasing the arrival of Frog-Man in She-Hulk, fans should probably expect more of these D-list comics characters to get their MCU debuts in the Disney Plus series, rather than waiting for surprise appearances from any big Marvel names.
