Miles Morales vs The Spot Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse

Fans’ first look at Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse has been revealed! Brand new storyboards for the film show off Hailee Steinfeld’s Spider-Gwen and a brand new design for The Spot.

During a recent featurette on social media, the team behind Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse gave fans their first look at the highly anticipated sequel through a number of storyboards. These new pieces put a large focus on Hailee Steinfeld’s Spider-Gwen, who seems to be leaping into action to save the city from The Spot, the latter snow sporting an interesting new design:

According to insiders, this new design for The Spot will be called The Abyss, a transformation caused by the villain augmenting his powers in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. It’s currently unclear if these storyboards take place right after that film’s cliffhanger, with Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy immediately swinging back into action at the start of Beyond The Spider-Verse, or if they show off the upcoming film’s climax against the big bad.
