Sony released an official clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home in which Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus reunite.

Over a month since it hit theaters breaking box office records, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released an official clip from Spider-Man: No Way Home showcasing one of the film’s most exciting character interactions: the reunion of two Sam Raimi-verse villains: Norman Osborn AKA Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Otto Octavius AKA Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina).

The clip in question takes place after the moment in which Peter Parker (Tom Holland) brings in a confused Norman Osborn into his custody. The iconic Spider-Man (2002) antagonist then has a chilling reunion with fellow scientist Dr. Otto Octavius, whose appearance with Doctor Octopus‘ four mechanical limbs surprise him. To Norman’s surprise, he is unaware that he as the Green Goblin died many years ago.

You can watch the chilling Spider-Man: No Way Home clip featuring Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus together down below:

Interestingly enough, this clip from the film marks the first time in which both Norman Osborn’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus share a scene together. Although both portrayed villains in the Sam Raimi-verse alongside Tobey Maguire, both of their respective characters were the primary antagonist in separate films and never interacted until No Way Home.

Here is the synopsis for the film:

“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx, with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
