During a press visit to the set of Spider-Man: Far From Home, director Jon Watts discussed whether or not Numan Acar was playing Chameleon with Screen Rant.
Reports of Numan Acar being cast in Spider-Man: Far From Home as a character named Dmitri prompted fans to wonder if the actor was playing Chameleon, a frequent foe of the wall-crawler in the comics known for being a master of disguise. Unfortunately, the subject of whether or not Numan Acar is playing the chameleon has yet to be confirmed or debunked for now. However, director Jon Watts revealed the character will have a mysterious past, though he would not say if Numan Acar’s Dimitri is the alter-ego of Chameleon:
“Well, Dmitri in the film works for Nick Fury and I think anyone who works for Nick Fury, they certainly have a mysterious past. We’re not specifically saying that he’s…but we’re not not saying.”
