New ‘Star Wars’ Novel Will Explore Han & Leia’s Marriage

A new Star Wars novel coming this summer will canonize the wedding of Han Solo and Leia Organa.

Now that the sequel trilogy has concluded, more Star Wars stories are starting to explore the time between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. Shadow of the Sith will reveal the adventure with Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian, teased in The Rise of Skywalker. announced on Valentine’s Day that fans will get to find out what happened in the early days of Han and Leia’s marriage with The Princess and the Scoundrel. The story will pick up right after the events of Return of the Jedi and follow the newlyweds to the Halcyon starcruiser, which is part of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney World in Orlando. The upcoming novel from author Beth Revis will arrive on August 16.

Lucasfilm and director J. J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.

The late Carrie Fisher appears as General Leia Organa, using previously unreleased footage shot for The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
