Major ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Character May Appear In ‘The Mandalorian’

At the end of Star Wars Rebels, the story jumps to the end of the events of Return of the Jedi, where we see Sabine take off with Ashoka Tano to find Ezra Bridger. The end of Rebels has caused Star Wars fans to speculate on what comes next for the Mandalorian character. The first ever live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, takes place years after Return of the Jedi and may feature the return of Sabine with Rebels creator Dave Filoni involved. According to a new report from Making Star Wars, Sabine’s helmet was spotted on set. However, Making Star Wars couldn’t confirm whether the Rebels character will make an appearance in the upcoming series, just her helmet.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian does not have an official release date, however, the series is expected to debut with Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, which is expected to launch by the end of 2019.
