The latest episode of Star WarsThe Book of Boba Fett features a surprising celebrity cameo.

Spoilers ahead for The Book of Boba Fett.

The Star Wars universe just got bigger. The Book of Boba Fett has received acclaim all across the board for humanizing the eponymous bounty hunter and expanding the underworld of the Star Wars universe. While the series has been off to a slow start, the latest episode has ramped things up considerably for the bounty hunter. As he tries to navigate the underworld of Tatooine, Boba Fett is attacked by Jabba The Hutt’s twin cousins, who maintain their position as their true heirs of the throne.

After the attack by the slug twins fails, they come to Boba Fett and apologize, asking for a truce. The benevolent bounty hunter obliges and in return, the twins gift Boba Fett a rancor calf, who comes with a trainer. In a surprising twist, the trainer is played by none other than Danny Trejo. Executive producer and director Robert Rodriguez is a frequent collaborator of Danny Trejo, so it’s no surprise that the two reunited for the Star Wars series.

Danny Trejo has been a mainstay in Robert Rodriguez’s various projects throughout the years, with their most famous collaborations being the Spy Kids films, From Dusk till Dawn, and the Machete dulogy. It remains to be seen just how expansive Trejo’s role is in the Star Wars series.
