Black Krrsantan The Book of Boba Fett Jabba The Hutt Family

Brand new character posters from The Book of Boba Fett spotlight Jabba the Hutt’s family and Black Krrsantan.

The first two episodes of the original Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett have premiered on Disney Plus, and fans are already stoked to return to the galaxy far, far away to catch up on the latest adventures centered on the iconic Bounty Hunter. In Chapter Two, characters including the family of Jabba the Hutt and Black Krrsantan are involved.

The use of these characters in The Book of Boba Fett works as fan service for Star Wars fans that have followed the lore of the franchise beyond the live-action films/series. The extended family of Jabba the Hutt has been explored in books and animated series, whereas Black Krrsantan was also featured in comic books, appearing in the Doctor Aphra series.

New character posters centering on the family of Jabba the Hutt and Black Krrsantan were released. A poster featuring Tusken Raiders was also released. You can check out the new character posters down below:

The inclusion of such characters is another indication that the Star Wars franchise is looking to further connect the different elements of its official canon in more ways than one. For fans that have followed every piece of canonical material, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more tie-ins in the future, especially with 2022 looking to be the biggest year for the franchise in quite some time thanks to the release of new original series for Disney Plus alongside this Boba Fett adventure.

Here is the synopsis for the Disney Plus original Star Wars series:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
