Oddly time-sensitive.

Netflix has released brand new posters for Stranger Things‘ fourth season.

The gang is back! The wait for the fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things has been excruciatingly long. So much so that 2019, the year the third season was released, looks and feels like an entirely different reality. We know that the series is set to hit Netflix later this year and it looks the streaming service has kickstarted its marketing plan for its most popular series.

Brand new posters for the fourth season have been released with both an ominous caption and design. By the looks of the caption, it appears that Stranger Things’ fourth outing will start off in Russia, which is quite timely considering what’s going on in the world right now.

A second poster was also released, which looks to be even more frightening.

One can imagine more posters will be released throughout the day, which should (hopefully) point to a release date or trailer tease.

Update:

And it looks like there’s a third one.

From the tagline “Every ending has a beginning”, one can muster up the sad news that the Netflix series might be coming to an end. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but all signs point to the show wrapping up as its lead stars continue to grow.

Here is the synopsis for the third season of Stranger Things:

“It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, and Cara Buono.
