The MCU just keeps growing bigger! The newest trailer for What If…? season 3 gives fans their best look yet at Storm as the Goddess of Thunder!
It’s hard to imagine that What If…? is coming to an end with season 3. The project has been a staple of the MCU’s recent multiverse saga. While it was far from the most consistent series, it’s a project that has held a special place in the hearts of many fans due to the wild and wacky scenarios it explores. Though that certainly doesn’t seem to be slowing down with this trailer.
What If…? seems hellbent on going out with a bang. The trailer for season 3 shows off some truly mindboggling scenarios that are set to be explored in the show, including the return of Mysterio, Uatu meeting with the Celestials, and a clear look at Storm’s debut in the MCU. How What If…? Season 3 Will Affect The MCU
Given how heavily What If…? has tied into the concept of the multiverse opening up, it’s end with season 3 will likely play into the end of the multiverse’s focus in the MCU. Many suspect that key characters from the series such as Captain Peggy Carter, Kahorri, and Uatu the Watcher will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars as representations of the endless possibilities of the multiverse.
Of course, nobody will know what lies in store for What If…? season 3 until the series drops on Disney Plus. However, this trailer clearly shows that something bigger is in store for the project then simply being a footnote in an otherwise underwhelming saga. As for what form that takes, the possibilities are simply too endless to count.
