Is Jason Momoa the best mother-fraggin’ Bastich there is? Set photos from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow reveal Lobo getting down and dirty!
There are plenty of reasons to be excited for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. From Milly Alcock’s performance as the titular heroine, to the elaborate set photos that have leaked from the project. However, for most of the internet, their excitement for the project boils down to one thing: finally getting to see Jason Momoa as Lobo on the big screen.
Fans have been waiting to see Jason Momoa take on the mantle of the last Czarnian ever since he was cast as Aquaman way back in 2014. So when it was announced that he would be taking on the role of Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the internet exploded in collective cheers, waiting at the edge of their seat for set photos of the character to leak online. However, with Momoa wrapping filming on the project only a single blurry picture snapped, fans thought they’d have to wait quite some time for any proper look at the character.

Yet it seems the leakers were just holding the big prize back until Jason Momoa exited stage left! A new batch of set photos and a video from UnBoxPHDFILM gives fans their best look yet at Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. While fans don’t get to see Momoa’s face, it does seem as though everything visible about his take on Lobo is about as comic accurate as one can get without drawing the character over each frame of the movie.

Given Jason Momoa has wrapped filming on Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, it’s not likely fans will be getting a much better look than this for some time. However, even though the quality of the set photos was rather lacking, fans have already fallen in love with the design for Lobo in the film. One can only imagine what it’ll look like once it’s touched up in post!
