The DC Universe is batting a thousand with its wardrobe! Set photos from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow give fans their first look at Milly Alcock in costume.
The current state of comic book discourse is one that’s hard to follow if one isn’t all-in on leaks and behind-the-scenes images. In that regard, the DC Universe has done a pretty miraculous job avoiding these spoilers. Superman only had a handful of set photos leak ahead of time, and the only thing that has released from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has been an official image of Milly Alcock as the Princess of Power herself.
However, with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow now nearing the end of its production, the crew has no choice but to take some of the action outside. While this has mostly bared fruit in the form of literal set photos as they build out the infrastructure, Milly Alcock recently took to filming scenes on the lot. This means fans finally got a full look at her costume in the DC Universe, and it’s certainly a sight to behold for longtime readers.

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Costume In The DC Universe
The costume has been lauded online as being perhaps the best to come out of the DC Universe so far. It seems to be pulled straight from the pages of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic, complete with the chunky belt and all. While the exact curvature of the logo isn’t exactly clear, it does seem as though Milly Alcock will be donning an identical crest to that of David Corenswet’s Superman, signaling a consistency in the costume design of the franchise.
It’ll likely be some time until an official image of Milly Alcock’s costume is revealed. Given how tenuous the state of the DC Universe is right now, promotion for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow likely won’t start until Superman fully releases in theaters. Even then, Gunn and Safran may hold off until Peacemaker begins to air to ensure their theatrical releases have enough time to breathe in theater without people rushing to the next thing.
