Deadline reports Inde Navarrette is the latest addition to the cast of The CW’s Superman & Lois, the next DC Comics series that will continue to expand the Arrowverse.

Inde Navarrette joins the cast which already includes Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, as well as Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as their sons, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing.

Navarrette takes on the role of Sarah Cushing in the series. The actress is best known for her role in Wander Darkly and will also be seen in the upcoming fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why on Netflix.

Based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman & Lois hails from The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing, Greg Berlanti, and Warner Bros. Television. The series has been written by Helbing.

Although the pilot for Superman & Lois was being filmed before production was shut-down due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the series has continued forward rounding out the cast. The series which was officially announced last October received a straight-to-series order in January with a total of 13 episodes greenlit for the first season.

While plot details for Superman & Lois remain under wraps, the series has been described as revolving “around the world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist [as they] deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.” Tulloch made her debut as Lois Lane in the Arrowverse during the 2018 Elseworlds crossover event, appearing opposite of Hoechlin who had previously appeared as the Man of Steel on The CW’s Supergirl.
