Fans have their first look at Mister Terrific! New Superman set photos show off Edi Gathegi in costume for his DC Universe role.
Ever since it was announced that Edi Gathegi would be playing Mister Terrific, DC fans have been itching to see what his costume would look like in action. While no footage has been released yet, set photos from Cleveland.com give fans their first look at both him and Superman in the DC Universe.
Everything from the hair to Edi Gathegi’s “Fair Play” jacket makes him look ripped straight out of Mister Terrific’s comics. Meanwhile, David Corenswet’s Superman suit is much more vibrant than previous set photos have suggested. It truly seems like these costumes are building a perfect DC Universe!
Edi Gathegi’s Role In Superman
These set photos seem to suggest that Edi Gathegi will be working alongside David Corenswet’s Superman in the upcoming DC Universe film. This may seem obvious to some, but prior rumors suggested that Mister Terrific and the other heroes may be turned against the Man of Steel for at least some portions of the movie.
This is the second batch of set photos that showed off a hero’s costume in Superman. A few months back, fans saw what Maria Gabriela de Faria would look like as the Engineer in the DC Universe. While that suit was a far departure from the character’s comic origins, it seems Edi Gathegi got the VIP treatment in having a comic-accurate costume!
